MR. DAVID HO YEOU SHIAN

 

David Ho is a media specialist with 26 years’ experience in advertising, marketing and management. Rising from the rank and file, he finally earned his MBA from University of Liverpool in 2012 after a rigorous two-and-a-half years’ study while juggling a full-time job as CEO of one of the largest corporations in Malaysia and raising three boisterous pre-teen sons. Despite his hectic schedule, he excelled in all the subjects – Corporate Strategy, Managing People, Managing Change, e-commerce and Service Marketing – and was awarded a distinction for his outstanding dissertation.

 

His expertise covers: • strategic marketing communication planning and implementation for B2B and B2C • digital marketing • client leadership and management • business leadership • talent management • strategic media planning • media auditing and pricing benchmarking • consumer and trade behaviour • media sales and marketing trainings and • entrepreneurship.

 

This vast experience was acquired during his employment at BSB, Ogilvy & Mather, GroupM, iProspect, Isobar, Aegis Media, Redberry Media Group and Axiata Digital Services / AdParlor Asia. During this time, he also provided media consultancy and trained over 3,000 advertising and marketing professionals from both international and local companies.

 

Eager to elevate industry standards through training and consultancy, David founded Navigator Asia Business Sdn Bhd in 2013 to share his skills and experience. Through Navigator Business Academy, David is developing an international standard professional-training programmes for the marketing, advertising, communication and media industry.

 

David Ho is a certified HRDF trainer, and a Marketing Lecturer for Undergraduates and Postgraduates in Monash University. David has a Teaching Permit for Marketing Management (Master Program) from Ministry of Higher Education.
