The carbon capture and storage (CCS) industry in Asia Pacific is on the path for significant expansion, with cumulative investment across capture, transport and storage projected to reach US$622 billion by 2050, according to Wood Mackenzie.  As Asia accelerates its path toward net-zero emissions, carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) is emerging as a cornerstone of the region’s industrial decarbonization strategy.

Petronas and partners step up pace on carbon capture project. Joint venture awarded Malaysia’s first offshore assessment permit for carbon capture and storage.
