WHY ATTEND THIS COURSE?

In Malaysia, many projects use PAM, PWD/JKR, CIDB or bespoke contracts. However, FIDIC remains one of the most influential international contract frameworks for infrastructure, engineering, design-build and EPC projects.

 

This 2-day masterclass does not teach FIDIC as a foreign form to be memorized. It teaches FIDIC as a practical contract management tool to control time, cost, quality, risk, variations, payment, claims and disputes.

 

Participants will learn how to use FIDIC principles to strengthen day-to-day contract administration, even when their projects are governed by local Malaysian standard forms. Both 1999 Rainbow Suite and 2017 updated edition will be discussed during the masterclass.

The course will help participants understand the FIDIC Rainbow Suite, choose the appropriate form, manage notices and records, deal with delay and EOT claims, value variations, protect cash flow, respond to supply chain disruption and reduce disputes through better contract administration.
